Well, where do I start with this one…
Fans from 10 years ago know who I’m talking about…
To the newbies, I will explain myself and this podcast…
In the beginning (2009-2010) we were broadcasting shows on a regular time/date and
we could chat with the listeners while doing this…
One day I was contacted by this guy that really digged dirtyRadio…
You have fans and you have FANS… well Fred was from the latter category…
Apparently he was Dutch and we chatted a lot about music during these years…
He also was a photographer and a big Underworld fan… I guess this all was meant to be…
We chatted a lot about one day going to an Underworld concert and meet in person…
Then one day I came back from holiday and read on Facebook that Fred had passed away…
Till today I can not describe how this feels… Losing someone you know, but don’t know…
That’s why I made this podcast… Not to say goodbye, but to say… you will never be forgotten…
And btw… Fred would have loved the practical joke on track 13 and 14 🙂
And yes… I miss him…
