I was going to finally punch in an episode i’d been fiddling with on and off for about three weeks, then decided yesterday that it either wasnt ready or that I wasnt feeling it. I hastily cobbled an emergency backup to see if I could do anything this week, and this strange thing came out. I say strange because it’s.. not. cohesive indie show? sure why not. a couple of familiar names, but a lot of fresh 2009 ideas flying around: Part Chimp from Mogwai’s label, Florence’s terrifically layered debut, and David Sylvian’s left field minimalism. plus a new one from Geoff Barrow’s side project Beak>. No sea of tags here.
