Black Box – No.14 – 2009-08-27

Published on August 27, 2009

Black Box No. 14 – This week we have a selection of funk, soul and RnB with a little bit of African contempory music thrown in for a laugh. I actually had to do this show twice after the original got deleted, however the show is pretty much unchanged between the two except for one or two songs. Really found an interesting link between what was happening in America and Africa during the 60’s and 70’s – even up tot he modern day. An exchange of influences is evident and there is such a close bond in the use of both rhythmic and vocal elements in the music…hope you enjoy.
